At the last Board of Directors meeting the Board voted to approve the following additions to the MLS Rules and Regs. Updated versions of the entire MLS Rules and Regs will be uploaded ASAP.
1. The name filed with the Multiple Listing Service shall be the legal last name as registered with the New Mexico Real Estate Commission, first name and or “nickname”, this name may be used on sign riders and other advertising so long as it is within the Rules and Regulations established by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission. It is the responsibility of the QB participant to notify the MLS office within 30 days of any name change of an associate participant. Failure to notify the MLS office may result in the associate participant MLS access to be suspended and up to termination of membership. (4/2017)
2. Any listing photograph that prominently features a yard sign or where an agent’s name or contact information is legible is prohibited. Photos in which the yard sign is incidental to and a small portion of the digital image and provided the sign and any contact information is not readable is allowed. (4/2017)
