Thank you Tammy Alston for sharing this information!
You know how frustrating it is to be looking for well information, right??
Have you ever wondered if there was an easier way to look it up? Wonder no more!!
If you go to the State Engineer office website (you can access it under Links in the Resources section in Navica, also through resources on the association website) click on the link to go into the Water Rights database. Once you are on that page, on the left side of the page, at the bottom of the list, is a link that says “OSE POD online mapping tool”. Click that and a map of the state will appear. We are in District 2 and if you keep zooming in, it will start looking similar to the county mapping program, but well locations (and numbers!) will appear. If you click on the numbers, more pages appear with even more information. Just like the county mapping program, the layers aren’t exactly aligned, but it gives you a place to start.
