Save the Date: RPAC-NM Virtual Silent Auction
RPAC-NM is seeking donations to auction at the upcoming event. They are looking for a good mix of items with different values. Smaller items may be packaged. We do encourage any higher priced items that you can acquire (vacation stays, etc.). Donation deadline & how to donate items for the auction:
Please contact the association office by March 19, 2021 if you have any items to donate.
Complete the RPAC-NM Donation Form (one form for each item). You will need to include the following:
Description of item(s)
Name of the contributor and contact details
If they pertain, please include instructions on how to redeem, valid dates, etc.
How to deliver or drop off items for the auction.

Once we receive your donation form and item, we will take a photo and forward to NMAR for upload with a description to the virtual auction site.
We will make sure that your donation gets to where it needs to be following the closing of the auction.
How to participate: All NMAR Members with an active NRDS ID/Membership are invited to participate in the auction. The auction will go live on April 1, 2021 and run for one week until April 8, 2021. NMAR will be sending out invitations to all members and creating a FB Event page too for updates and other activities to keep you up to date on what items they have coming in, who is donating, and when we go live! Once the event is live, you will register with your name, NRDS ID and provide a credit card for payment. Only the winning bid will be charged at the end of the auction. NMAR will distribute all items to the winning bidder by e-mail, mail or in person, whichever option suits. FAQ’s Q. Who is eligible to participate in the auction? A. All Active NMAR Members with a NRDS ID. Q. If my bid is successful does it count towards an RPAC contribution? A. Yes. Q: Who gets the money for the winning bid? A: The association to whom the winning bidder belongs gets credit for the total dollars raised with the money split between NAR, NMAR and the local association. Q: If I donate an item to the auction, do I get credit? A: Unfortunately, no, only the winning bidder receives credit as an RPAC contribution. Contributions to RPAC are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Contributions are voluntary and are used for political purposes. Any amounts indicated are merely guidelines and you may contribute more or less than the suggested amounts. The National Association of REALTORS® and its state and local associations will not favor or disadvantage any member because of the amount contributed or a decision not to contribute. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal. Your contribution is split between National RPAC and the RPAC-NM. Contact NMAR for information about the percentages of your contribution provided to National RPAC and to RPAC-NM. The National RPAC portion is used to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 52 U.S.C. 30116.
