
The New Mexico Association of REALTORS® has secured a $125,000 grant from the REALTORS® Relief Foundation to assist Ruidoso residents affected by the July 8, 2025 catastrophic flooding.

Funded by generous contributions from real estate professionals and the National Association of REALTORS®, this grant is administered jointly by New Mexico Association of REALTORS® and the REALTOR® Relief Foundation. The grant provides up to $1,000 per household for those displaced from their primary residence. Assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be used for:

Monthly mortgage expense for the primary residence that was damaged by the Flood on July 8th or;

Rental housing cost due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Flooding on July 8th (renters only qualify if displaced by landlord) or;

Hotel reimbursement due to displacement from the primary residence resulting from the Flood on July 8th.

Application requests will be accepted until all funds have been distributed or until September 17, 2025. A panel of local professionals will review and verify the applications and supporting documents with relief checks issued as quickly as possible.
